and well I guess I should let the siggy speak for itself. ![]()
Everything looks great so far. We saw 2 heartbeats, one was 112 and doctor/we could clearly see the other one also. He said they both look strong and healthy and since I'm still early on, he would rather wait to measure both next time around. He did see a small blood clot and told me to try and not freak out if I started bleeding. It is normal for twins. (I thought of you Jackie) I think I'm still in total shock right now but of course very happy.
Oh and the doctor was unable to print the pics for us today unfortunately but in 2 weeks I will bring my USB and he will upload all the pics for us. I didn't stress it.
Re: Back from 1st ultrasound...
OMG OMG OMG! Woohoo! CONGRATS! So glad you got to see (two) heartbeats! Yeah, more twins! If I could jump (no excercise), I'd be jumping up and down girl!
Just throwing it out there... could the blood clot be another sac/baby? Could V's prediction be correct?!
So happy for you four! CoNGrATS AGAIN! :::HUGS:::

LMAO! can you imagine if I was correct. I am still a bit on the fence though, you are early, one could still split
Regardless, I still think you and Jackie will ahve same gender babies
CONGRATS though, I am so so happy for you. Will continue to keep you in our prayers. xoxo!!!
Thanks V for the info. I hope it does absorb it but I'll just take it easy until later on. As for any chance of identical twins, its the zygote that divides into 2 embryos. This is usually only between 3-8 days after fertilization so by now its not really possible. Sorry to burst your bubble
but wishful thinking. lol You still crack me up though.
I bled a lot one night (basically 6 hrs), and then thtat's it. That following AM, when the clot was discovered, doctor told me I may continue to bleed or body may reabsorb. It reabsorbed naturally, thankfully. 4 wks after that scare, at followup u/s, no sign of clot. : )
BTW - same thing happened to my best friend w/ twins. I know that you know it is normal, but one still tends to freak out. Just try to remain positive if God forbid it does happen.
