Stomach virus leading to diarrhea and dr says 'keep him hydrated'. He is usually a great drinker, but is not in the mood lately. I don't blame him. How do you get your LO to drink liquids when they don't want to?

My DD currently has the same thing.  It's awful.  I was told to offer half as much twice as often.  So far it seems to be working.

my DS recently had diarriah for a few days, i have him pedialyte to help keep him hydrated.

ours had similar when they were about 4mos.  ped had us give them pedialyte.  also, the nurse suggested this old fashioned recipe for rice water... cook rice until the starch comes out, and the babies drink the water.  i made it and did have a little success.   for us, their tummies were upset for a couple weeks before things started getting better.

Have you tried the Pedialite frozen pops? I couldn't get Sofia to drink anything but she would suck on them.  Hope he feels better soon.
