I switched from Long Lupron to Antagonist Protocol (Ganirelix). With Long Lupron I had about 15 follies. Now I only have about 8 as of day 6. Should I be concerned? Are some of the little suckers still hiding? Any experience/success?
TIA

Re: Antagonist Protocol and hiding follies
For my second cycle, I had 8 visible and they retrieved 11 that were mature , so it is possible. Also, I didn't really start to get going until about 8 days of stims, so you can still recruit more you aren't seeing right now.
As for numbers, my successful I had 4 eggs retrieved. Numbers don't really matter!!!
Good luck!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I did AP last month, and we saw 10 main follies right away, and "tons" of bitties, but the 10 kinda remained consistent for me, each check along that week of stims. What we saw is what we got, basically. It was my 1st IVF.
(10 ret, 7 mature, 5 fert with ICSI and 3 perfect bitties went in. they didn't stick around long, but that's beside the point)
But in my panic, I had LOTS of gals tell me that I could have many more lurking, so just hang in there!!!!!
