Infertility

Mixed news - update from yesterday

So my ER is going to happen on Thursday morning but they are going to proabably cancel my transfer. My E2 is 4,000+ and I have over 40 follicles right now so the risk for OHSS is too great.

I am okay with this because I don't want to get sick and I am just happy that I have a chance that this whole cycle won't be a bust.

Now I just have to hope they get some good mature eggs and the fertilize and freeze.

If all that happens I will get to do a FET next cycle. Lots more hurdles but at least we got over one!

Thanks for all the kind words and vibes. It worked! :)

    40 follicles?!

Please stay well and good luck with your retrieval. When will they schedule the transfer?

I know. It is insanity! The nurse said that provided I get anything to freeze (which I really hope I do after all this) that I would just need to get my period and we would do a FET.

I am chugging powerade like it is going out of style. I hope to never drink this crap again!

Thank you for the kind words!
