I'm just trying to figure out what it entails and how long from start to finish.
it's shorter than a fresh cycle, right?

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Re: Walk me through a medicated FET cycle please (s/paifw)
hi there, dear worms,
I c&p'd this from my bio:
Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) #1
9/21/07 - CD1
9/25 - started delestrogen (every 3rd night)
10/3 - started daily PIO
10/8 - FET- transferred 2 blasts.
10/22 - Beta
So yes, much shorter than a fresh cycle! Although I had to do two IM shots. yuck! But this was back in 2007, I'm pretty sure my clinic has stopped using PIO and have moved to endometrin.
GL, sweetie!! When do you plan on cycling?
xoxo
1/6 - started 2 weeks of bcp
1/18 - started Lupron
1/25 - started Vivelle patches (estrogen)
2/1 - E2 bloodwork
2/7 - E2 bloodwork and lining check, start PIO, stop Lupron
2/12 - FET
I'm hoping in July/August but I'll guess we'll see when AF shows up and if I'm not sure if RE is still planning to do hysteroscopy.
I paged you below

I can't remember my exact protocol, it was SO long ago. But, I'm pretty sure I was on BCP's for a month prior and then estrace until my lining looked good so it ended up being as long as a fresh cycle. I've seen many different protocol's though.
Did you get bloodwork results back?
LOL at echloe's siggy challenge pic!!
Thanks cutie. My nurse mentioned being on lupron. What cd did you start bcp?

I just responded
(I've always wanted to use that emoticon. Looks kinda like Benji)
Mine was longer than a fresh cycle.
3/22 - BCP (21 days)
April - Delestrogen every three days; 6 shots before a lining check
May 1 - Started progesterone, Endometrin
May 7 - FET (5 day transfer)
May 17 - Beta
I have had two different kinds.
The first one was easy
CD 1-14 : 4 estrace a day and one vaginally
CD 14- Lining check ( I usually had to take more estrace at this point and went in for a couple more lining checks)
But once your lining is ready I did PIO in the morning and endometrin at night and transfer was one week later.
The second one took a lot longer because I was on Lupron for 3 weeks prior but then after those three weeks I did the above schedule.
Echole and I go to the same practice so ours were very similar.
4/5 - CD1 and baseline u/s
4/6 - start Estrace 2mg 3x/day
4/16 - u/s to check lining & b/w
4/17 - 1mg PIO 1x/day
4/22 - ET
5/1 - Beta
*I started Prometrium suppositories too, I just can't remember when*
Hope this helps! GL with your FET!

Oops, left that part out...I started BCP on CD3. This FET seemed like it took forever to me since I do MDL for fresh cycles which is pretty quick.
I'm excited for you to cycle again this summer...I hope we both get to move over to PAIF soon. we're long overdue!
Mine was longer b/c I did 3 months of Lupron Depot.
The last month of Lupron Depot, I did 2mg of add back estradiol. Then progesterone starting CD21 to bring on AF.
That cycle I started BCP, continued with the estradiol and started regular Lupron CD20. AF came on its own.
This cycle I started with patches + estrogen (orally and vaginally, 1 each) and continued the Lupron. Lupron continues until CD18. Patches increase (up to 4) until CD14, then back back off to 2. 5,000 iu hcg on CD14 if lining is good. Then boosters of 1,000 every 3 days until CD24. PIO starts CD15. Transfer CD20 as long as lining looks good CD14 and CD20.
I did antagonist before, so it seems longer to me!
I know my FET cycle looks a little different but maybe it will help you with a timeline at least! GL!!
CD21: Start suprefact (nasal spray) 5 times a day
Call with next AF
CD8: Start Estrace
CD21: u/s to chcek lining thickness
CD21-24: Embryo transfer- start prometruim
I started my drugs on May 24th and hopefully will have my transfer June 24
