Nicholas new favorite game:

We have a gate at the top of the stairs (and bottom).  Well there is a little space where he can reach his hand through underneath (can't crawl thru, but can reach thru so no worries there).  One at a time, he'll grab a toy and lay down at the top of the stairs and throw it thru the opening.  Some toys- like a ball will bounce all the way to the bottom. Other toys like his fisher price littlepeople just hang out on the first 2 steps or how ever far he can get them.  I was watching him do this yesterday.  It was quite fascinating.  of course then I have to pick up all the toys on the steps (otherwise I would be the clumsy one who trips on them and falls).  Oh and he tried to reach over gate to throw the toys that way, but is too short.

LOL! Our gates are the same way. Thankfully Hayden hasn't figured out how to put toys either over or under them.

Oh and then he got mad when he tried to put a toy thru the gate and couldn't.

Jacob loves to throw toys over the gate (he's tall enough to do so) and then he whines when they're gone!  He also likes to throw things over the railing from the 3rd floor to the first floor (open floor plan).  Its awesome!
