I'm so sorry this last IUI didn't work.  AF sucks.

I know you are taking a break this summer.......I hope that helps.  Do you think you'll move to IVF in the fall?

Acupuncture question - I had my RE appt yesterday morning, started Gonal-F shots last night.  Couldn't get into for a acupuncture appt until next Tuesday which will probably be a few days before the IUI.  I could not get in this week with my schedule - do you think one appt is worth it?

Thanks!  It does suck, but I guess this is what happens when you turn 39.  I was thinking of waiting a few months before IVF to give myself a break from the meds and some time to try on our own again.  DH seems a little more ready to start so I'll see what my RE says tomorrow and also try to get that 2nd opinion soon.

I think the one appt is worth it.  One of my friends went only twice and got pregnant on her break cycle before IVF - she thinks it helped.  I never timed my appts with the IUI.  I just went twice a week, but last time she wanted me to come in the day of my IUI.  It didn't work out since the IUI ended up being on Memorial Day, but you might want to ask about that and see if you can coordinate another appt that day.  Good luck!  I hope it works for you this time!!!!

I hear you about turning 39!  I will be in September.

Hope the RE appt is a good one tomorrow.

I'm going to keep the acupuncture appt - I'm willing to try anything at this point.  it certainly can't hurt anything.  I've had a few friends that swear by it.

I'll let you know how it goes!!
