My name is Heather and my story is a little different from everyone else's. I'm 30 and DH is 33. We were married in July 2004 and got our first BFP in Nov. 2005 after 6 mo.'s trying. DS was born in August 2006. He was a perfectly healthy little boy. In Jan 2007 we got a call from the babysitter that he had stopped breathing. He was on life support for three days and died on Jan. 7 at exactly 5 mo.'s old. Official cause of death: undetermined.
I went off birth control awhile after that and got pregnant in July 2007, found out two days after our dog died from cancer (diagnosed in Nov. 2006, I felt guilty about ignoring him after DS was born, then DS died and I felt guilty for worrying about the dog, aaahhhhh!) DD was born in March 2008.
We are currently trying for DC #3. I just keep coming back here because it feels safer than being with all the people who don't know how hard life can be or how quickly it can change. Thank you for the safe haven!
