NBR: Wedding date set ( i think lol)
Ok. I think we are getting married September 9th, 2011 at dusk on Sunset Beach in Cape May Point, New Jersey.
I have seriously less than 25 people to invite on my side. If any of you would like to come and sit on my side, or just want an invitation, please email me your address and when wedding invites go out I will send you one!
I think I may have set up a wedding page so that we can broadcast our wedding on the internet for those who were given a password to view it. What do you guys think of that?
I still don't know if I want to mail in the marriage license yet, but I figure we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

Its funny. My sister and her boyfirend have been engaged for 3+ years as they got ernagged before my neice was born. Anyway they have been setting and cancelling dates for years now. Well I think she is finally getting married this August. I think she feels the same way you do.

How's the dress coming along? I remember you posted a drawing of the dress and it looked sooooo lovely! Knowing as much as I can know about you via The Bump/Facebook, I'm sure it will be a very unique ceremony!

This is where we live AND where we got married!!! Well, I live in Cape May City (two minutes away), but we got married on the beach in CM Point. September 30th, 2005 at sunset and it was amazing!!! What a small world!
Now I am going to regret saying where I live, but who cares... that was too crazy that I just read that!

hahahaha! Hawtie's family used to live there...wouldn't it be funny if you knew them?! His family owns businesses on the boardwalk as well as few residential places near the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. What a small world!! Come on over for the wedding! ;-)
Hawtie wants to marry at Sunset Beach. Is that where you were married? Did you have a reception? Have any suggestions? What do you now about dinner cruises? I have no idea what kind of reception to have. The only thing I know is that Hawtie wants one with cocktails and dancing. lol.
I was thinking that we should pick out a Cape May Diamond to replace the stone that came out of my engagement ring when I smashed my hand at work a couple weeks ago. Is that silly?
I don't recognize Hawtie, but I might know his family. Small towns here! Scary small!
Sunset Beach is pretty, but you'll have tons of gawkers. It is loaded with people at sunset (hence the name). We were married at Lehigh Beach. It is the beach with the Convent and the Lighthouse in the back round. In my opinion, the absolute prettiest. I should post pics of our wedding.
We had a reception at the Pelican Club on Beach Drive, which is now closed. There are a few places in Cape May that would accommodate just cocktails and hourderves. Especially in September when things slow down. The Brown Room at Congress Hall comes to mind. Small, jazzy, cool bar in an old renovated hotel.
Dinner cruises are mostly in Wildwood. The only one over this way is on the Cape May Lewes Ferry. Not so nice, really.
Haha about the CM diamonds. I doubt you would want one. They are soooo cloudy. Think moonstone. Not that I dislike moonstones, just not my idea of a diamond.

Broadcasting the wedding is a great idea! I would so love to watch - if I was closer I'd come in a heartbeat.

How wonderful! That is such a beautiful area. My brother lives in Haddonfield and spends a lot of time down at Cape May. I also think the date is wonderful - my parents were married on 9/9/67 and are still going strong.
