anything fo rlittle kids to do in French Lick, Indiana?

We live in southern Illinois and are going ona road trip to holiday world in Indiana.  We are trying to find other things to do in Indiana because we would like to do somethin gon sunday and spend the night then go to holiday world the next morning...any ideas?

  • Lincoln State Park is a couple miles from Holiday World- they have a museum and hiking trails plus an old log cabin with farm animals if I remember correctly.

    In French Lick I'd suggest checking out West Baden Springs Hotel for a tour but I'm not so sure how kid-friendly that would be. I'm pretty sure there's some old historic train that runs in French Lick and you can buy tickets for a ride. Train rides with old-fashioned locomotives seem to generally be fun for kid, IMO. 

    Have you considered spending two days at Holiday World? We were there last summer and could have easily spent two days there- one full day at the waterpark and a second day at the amusement park.
