Baby Bump Maternity

Can anyone that shops here let me know if it's pricey or reasonable?  I see their ads on TV and the clothes look really cute, but I don't really want to make the trip over there if it's $$$.  Thanks!

Never been, but I'll let you know once I go. It might be worth the trip since you could also hit up destination maternity and the big target which are are both close by.

  • they are pretty pricey. they combined three maternity stores into one, so you can find a reasonable deal on SOME jeans.  i kind of had to go there b/c no one is carrying jeans right now, just jean shorts.  i got a pair for around $35.  target does normally have a good selection of maternity.
  • Baby Bump Maternity IMO is pricey.  I found most of the brands that they carried were high end.  But all of their stuff is really cute!  You can also shop online at Gap, Oldnavy and Ann Taylor Loft.

I made the trek over to Gulfport and hit up the Motherhood outlet. I got a bunch of really cute sundresses, shorts, and work clothes at really good prices. It is definitely worth the drive IMO.

  • Hello!

I am pregnant with my first child and I discovered Baby Bump Maternity. What an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING boutique for expectant mothers! Yeah, you can go to Target and other bigger named stores, but you cannot get the quaility of goods and excellent customer service that you can get at Baby Bump. I love the boutique atmosphere, especially as a first time mom, because you can get the one on one service from sales assistants who know what they are talking about. They know specifically about nursingwear, diaper bags, etc. Try asking an associate at Target about the details on their maternity clothes and I'm sure they will give you a look of perplexity. As far as pricing goes, yes, there are certain items that are a little higher priced. But quality rules anyday over cheaply made garments. I will gladly invest in a $200 pair of maternity jeans that I know will last me through my pregnancy and not fall apart when it's washed. And I know if I am lucky enough to get pregnant a second time, I can still wear the same jeans! Also, I noticed many of the maternity clothes at Baby Bump are versatile enough that you can still wear them after you have had your baby. I bought the cutest top that I know I will definitely wear long after my baby is here! So YES come visit Baby Bump! I know I will definitely be back for more great items before my due date. And I have to go back for this diaper bag, I think it's called Storksack? Anyways, they have great diaper bags. Lastly, I met the owners who are such lovely people. Who wouldn't want to shop at a place with such a great atmosphere!

  • Hi, I don't post often, but was thinking the same thing about LLPrincess long post.LOL.

That being said, I've shopped there before. It is expensive, but nice clothes.

Be careful of the return policy though. I was in once and the cashier misquoted me the sales price of an item, 30 vs 75%. I literally went to my car, read the receipt and went back to return the misquoted item. The cashier tried to give me a store credit. I reminded her it was her mistake and I was out of the store for literally 1 minute, so she refund my money, but acted as if it was an act of congress.
