Just a couple of quick questions regarding IUI cycles:

1.) Are you supposed to have TI before the IUI?

2.) What size is considered a mature follicle?

3.) Did you do anything different on the IUI days (i.e., not workout, etc.)?

I know the answers will vary, but I just wanted to get a sense of what you guys have done. Any other advice or suggestions would be appreciated! Of course, SAIFW...I need to put that in my siggy...

Also, who are my cycle buddies? I am on day 6! Hoping for an IUI early next week.

1.) Are you supposed to have TI before the IUI? we did. we tried to keep up with every other day and then the dr told us when to abstain for the IUI and how to time it.

2.) What size is considered a mature follicle? I think about 18+

3.) Did you do anything different on the IUI days (i.e., not workout, etc.)? tried to just take it easy on the day of IUI.

We had sex at the night of trigger, the night of the IUI and the following evening.

2.) What size is considered a mature follicle?
18mm+ for inject cycle, I think a bit larger for orals.

3.) Did you do anything different on the IUI days (i.e., not workout, etc.)?
I was moderately bloated and not able to do aggressive workouts, and was told no swimming/baths directly after the IUI.

My RE says yes, and we have.  Just stop the day or two before the IUI. 

2.) What size is considered a mature follicle? My doc says about 20.

3.) Did you do anything different on the IUI days (i.e., not workout, etc.)?

I become a bum and use it as an excuse to sleep all day.  DH waits on me hand and foot.    I also make sure I PEE BEFORE the IUI.
