What parenting magazine(s) do you really like? Why?

What other magazines do you subscribe to?

Where can I find good deals on ordering magazines?

Now that we are going to be in one place for more than a year, I want to order a couple of magazine subscriptions.

I think that we are going to subscribe to the Washingtonian since we are back in the DC area. And, I want to get a BabyBugs subscription for Grant.

The only magazine I currently subscribe to is Real Simple. I found a good deal on amazon for that...

I used to get a lot more magazines like Redbook, Glamour, etc. but I let the subscription run out.

I also have a free subscription to Parents Magazine right now, but I think I've read maybe one so far.

I have a subscription to Parents Magazine. I am getting it for free and while it is good, I don't know if I would pay for it.

I also have subscriptions for me from Redbook, Lady's Home Journal, and Good Housekeeping. I am planning on letting GH and LHJ laps because I don't really like them, plus it is hard for me to find the time to read the magazines I get now.

I get Parents, Parenting, Family Circle, Newsweek, The Economist, Babybug, and the Highlights for under 5s.

Most were gifts ;-)

We do get subscriptions through our airlines miles a lot though....check if you have any of those as often it's very low to redeem a 1-2 year subscription. I think Family circle was like 100 miles or something for 1 year.

Food Network Magazine and Cooks Country

I hear you can order subscriptions online at amazon.com I don't know what the price difference is but I hear that it is a bit lower.

ETA: We also get Time Magazine (that one was a gift)

The only magazine we have a subscription to is the New Yorker. I used to get some parenting magazine (don't know which one) that I think someone gave me as a gift but I hated it. The few times I've read parenting magazines I've found them not at all helpful - either so basic that there wasn't anything to learn, and/or counter to a lot of my parenting choices so I steer clear. Sometimes we pick up Real Simple, Esquire, Allure and the occasional People/Us Weekly at the store, but no subscriptions.

I get WAY too many magazines, but many were gifts so I won't complain. I get Sunset, Better Homes & Gardens, Parents Magazine, Martha Stewart, Everyday Food, and Real Simple. I love them all but wish I had more time to read them. I take one with me whenever I go in for a relaxing soak in the tub!
