My baby started preschool today!!!!

Zachary started camp today at the preschool He is going to go 3x per week (so far). I am a little sad but I know he will have fun, and I REALLY need to get work done.

Anyway... just wanted to destress a little. I felt badly when I left but I haven't had a phone call yet from the school so I guess it's all going well

Oh how adorable that he's already in camp!  Hope both of you survive day 1... and he really likes it.  : )

Awww, he will have so much fun! Don't worry, I am sure he is doing great. It is so much harder on us mommies than it is for them.

I'm sure he's having a great day.  You'll feel so good when you see how happy he is when you pick him up... and when you see how much work you've gotten done.

Ditto!  I bet he's having a great day and I hope it all goes well.  It's definitely harder on us.  They benefit so much from the socialization with peers.

I had nothing to worry about! The teacher said he cried a little bit during the day but overall had a great day and when I got there... he didn't even care!!!!!!

he just kept playing with the jr. camp counselor and didn't notice I was there! I said, "Zachary, Mommy's here!" and he gave me a big smile and went right back to playing, he didn't move an inch. I was a little sad but I really felt so good.

when we got home, he was in a great mood and even clearly said a new word - DUCK - when I read him "5 little ducks" before bed. all in all, a great day.

YAY! So exciting. He is going to do great, Karen. I am a big believer that once kids reach a certain age they really need that interraction with other children and with other authority figures. I bet he is having a BLAST! And it will be nice for you to get some time for yourself.
