Update: Well, we have our NT scan tomorrow morning, so that's definitely a big deal. The doc saw lots of fluid around Baby B last week and so we just want to know what's going on (if anything) with that. If all goes well tomorrow, we'll be going public this week.
QOTD: We have 2 cats and a dog. The cats, Remy and Clio, don't really love each other, and Clio wants nothing to do with the dog, Kody (pic in siggy), lol. So it makes things interesting around the house. Definitely feels like a zoo at times, but we love them!
Update: I have an OB appt tomorrow so hopefully everything and everyone still looks good. I'm starting to get uncomfortable and the swelling is oh so lovely but overall I can't complain too much. It's not like I didn't know this would happen.
QOTD: We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I brought the cats to the marriage and DH the dogs - we're a blended family. LOL All but one are shelter animals (Apparently DH had a moment of weakness when trying to help a friend select an Aussie puppy from a breeder). Surprisingly, they all get along pretty well. Once the babies come it'll feel even more like Noah's ark - 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 babies, 2 adults....

Cats: Tiger-kitty and Phany (phantom) are 1/2 brother and sister. Dh (then Bf) started feeding this chewed up stray. She turned out to be pg and very mean to my dog Annie (who died last year 6/15). We found homes for all but the last 2 kittens who didn't get along with anyone but each other. Both are 6yrs old. Both dogs where then when they were born and guarded their little boxes for the 1st few weeks of their lives.
Mr Buttons: The foster cat that never left has been with us for 3.5 yrs and he's still a fat, fluffy and chatty as ever. A friend's sister was going into the air force and said she couldn't keep for 6mos. So she paid us $200 for any food, flea meds or small emergency. So for the last few yrs that 20lbs of luv is now ours :-)
Monkey: Dh was geo caching about 30min from our house...came across a box with 2 kittens and a raw piece of chicken. He and his friend thought they couldn't really do anything so they continued on the trail to find the cache. On the way back they felt guilty and stopped back by the box. Chicken covered in ants and box empty. One kitten wasin a tree and the other was near a bush. Needless to say Dh brought home the adventurous one in the tree. August 15th will be her 1yr of being rescued. She's insane and still loves her tree time.
Dogs: Annie and Michelle: Xmas 04 I was looking for a puppy for then Bf (now Dh). I went to the pound everyday for 2wks looking for the right puppy but avoiding the grown dogs because I'd want all of them. The last day I figured I may as well look for an older puppy in the adult section and came across my Annie-Moose. 20lbs, severly malnourished and across from a great dane pit mix. I paid for her on the spot. While waiting to see her in the play area a 90yr old man and his nurse came in with a 4mo old blonde fuzzy thing that was like a fish out of water...wearing a leash. Dh was instantly in love...and so were the dogs, with each other. Annie fattened up to a healthy 49lbs and had a short but happy 5yrs with us.Michelle is still as untrainable as ever, busy harrassing the cats and was the only dog kicked out of the dog park training in town...deamed a lost cause.

Nothing really new to report. Everything still going great (besides the occasional swelling.)
QOTD: we have three cats and they are all unique in their own right. I adopted Blizz about eight years ago from the pound, followed by Jade about 4 years ago, and finally, Chloe, who was adopted almost 2 years ago. They are my little furbabies and I would never give them up.

I have a glucose loading test and 24 hour urine collection test on Wednesday. So, I'm on this carb diet that the office is making me do today and tomorrow. For lunch I had a grilled cheese sandwich, two chocolate chip cookies & apple juice. I feel ill!
QOTD: I lost my 15 year old furbaby cat about a month ago -- Pierre. I had adopted him from a shelter in 1995. I miss my little buddy dearly. I have a 7 year old cat (also adopted) named Bijou (hence my screen name). Her photo is in my siggy. She is such a little lovebug!
Update: Knock on wood, all going well here. Passed my second nonstress test last week and my cervix is still over 5 cm and unchanged so very happy about that. Feeling like crap but I can almost see the finish line so I'm working towards that. Doing lots with our nursery this week- having it painted tomorrow and putting strollers and swings, etc. together.
QOTD: Nope. I'm not really a pet person, to be honest. If I had to get a pet, I guess I'd get a cat but I don't really see that happening.
Hi ladies,
We are having 2 girls! They are doing great, growing right on schedule. I'm having another u/s on Wed and I can't wait to see them again.
I'm also a mom of Daisy the boxer. She will 6 yrs old in July and we have her since she was 3 months old pup. She is the most spoiled, loved and cuddled 70 + lbs lap dog in my family. I'm curious to see how she will react to her new baby sisters.
