Where do you buy prune juice?!

Since starting solids, DD has been a little constipated so I wanted to buy some prune juice for her.. Well, we went to Target and Fred Meyer and they didn't have ANY prune juice at all! I ended up just buying some stage 1 prunes and fed her a tbsp after her squash.. Do they still make like the Gerber prune juice?

Re: Where do you buy prune juice?!

  • i don't know about gerber but you can usually just get it at the grocery store in the juice aisle

that being said, stage 1 prunes should do just fine, that's what we use

  • Gerber makes a prune apple juice that I typically find with the juices in the baby food section (typically lowest shelf at Target).  I have found just regular prune juice in the regular juice section.  I use those or I feed stage 1 prunes (stage 2 is prune apple).

  • I would avoid juice and do the prunes route - less sugar!
