Why are my BP tubes getting moldy?

I have a Medela PISA and have been using it regularly for 3 weeks, and my tubes are already moldy. I went to BRU to get new ones and the sales lady told me I was doing something wrong since there is condensation in the tubes every time I pump. Anyone know why this is happening? I cant figure out what I am doing wrong, and I make sure to dry them after each pump.

The only thing I can think of is that you're not drying the plastic parts the tubes plug into before pumping. Some water got into my tubes because of that, and I had to make sure to leave the pump running afterwards because of this.

After a pumping - detach the shield and and leave the pump running with the tubes attached. This will dry them out. I also have a Medela PIS and this does happen.

This. It's what the directions actually say to do every time. You aren't doing anything wrong to get condensation.

I didn't realize at first that ALL of the parts come undone. Even those little cappy things. So when you wash between your pumpings, take those apart too.
