I was sitting in the nursery late last night as the boys fell asleep and I suddenly thought to myself: I'm really grateful for this board. I mean REALLY grateful! You ladies are awesome - so supportive and encouraging and informative.

I never would have stuck with breastfeeding as long as I did if it wasn't for you all, and I would have thought I was the world's worst mother for feeling so overwhelmed that I cried my heart out several times a day when we first brought the boys home if several of you hadn't said that you did the same thing. It's really nice to feel safe to post about fears and worries and frustrations (because there are a lot of them with this whole parenting gig lol!), and I really, really appreciate all of your support.

And we appreciate you too! I agree with you about this board though. I'm never hesitant to post on here about anything... my only wish is that we all lived in one spot so we could enjoy eachother and all of these sweet little babies!

I am the same way.  I had almost given up on TN/TB, because of the way most of the women act on the national boards.  It was very refreshing when I discovered the Hawaii boards and saw how nice everyone was to each other.

i lurk on a few national boards occasionally (like that carseat post Ericka just linked to), but then quickly run back to the safety of my HI girls.

I completely agree...these Hawaii boards are such a great resource.  I am so glad I discovered them b/c my local boards have crickets & the national boards are just very different from this.

YES! I am all over this! I even mentioned our "5 year anniversary trip to Hawaii" to Ben a couple of days ago...possibly failing to mention that it would also be the Great HI Knottie/Nestie/Bumpie GTG of 2013 lol.
