26 week update

This post is a week and a half late (due to internet problems), but I do enjoy seeing how everyone is doing and wanted to give our update. 

Last friday we had our 26w4d growth scan.  Babies looked great:

Baby A was measuring 2lb 3 oz and in the 55th percentile

Baby B was measuring 2 lb 6 oz and in the 64th percentile

Cervix was 4 cm and closed.  I've gained 24 pounds, BP has been great.  Working full time still and EXHAUSTED, but glad everyone is looking well...

We had one problem show up on the ultrasound - Baby A had a little over 3 cm of amniotic fluid and Baby B was showing to have approx. 7.5cm.  Since their growth discrepancy is only 7%, they told us to come back in 1 week for a recheck of fluid.  Recheck friday showed improvement... numbers were more like 4 and 6, but it seems that Baby A is actually keeping her pocket of fluid to the side instead of anteriorly (where they measure from).  The MFM that did our scan said she has "plenty of fluid" and didn't see anything to be concerned about.

    Everything sounds great.  I am glad the fluid did not turn into anything serious!  I am glad you are still working, but remember to take some time for yourself.

    I'm doing everything I can to make sure I'm getting enough rest!  (I wish it could be a little more of course).  And DH has been fantastic about helping with things at home.   I'm one of those people that is praying at some point for some modified bed rest or even pushing for part time near the end, but my OB won't write me out without a medical reason.   Working is getting harder, but its still manageable... just trying to take it one day at a time for now

    Sounds like everything is better than good!  Yay for great appointments!  : )
