back up names?

For those that know the gender of your LO, do you still have a backup name picked out? I mean, it is very rare, but every once in a while someone leaves the hospital with the opposite gender they were expecting. I'm very confident that this baby is indeed a boy, but I think I might want to get a backup name together just in case? Anyone else doing this?

we're having a girl but we don't have any names picked- we won't talk about names until we meet her.

my boyfriend and I had picked out a girl and boy name before we knew the gender... so in a way i guess its a back up?

we don't have a back up name, but this JUST happened to dh's cousin a few weeks ago. they were told girl all the way through thier pregnancy and it ended up being a boy!

I became really fond of Landon Connor or Logan Emery for a boys name before I found out LO was (supposedly) a girl so those are my backup names! Here's hoping LO stays a girl though otherwise 'he' would be wearing a LOT of pink.

Backup names for LO if still a girl and the name picked out now doesn't fit (happened to me apparently, dad wanted Julia, mom wanted Riley, neither fit) are Auden Elizabeth and Kiera (or Keira) Adele.

Even though we are fairly confident that DS is in fact going to be a boy when he is born, we have a back up plan. Oliver may end up coming home as an Olivia. And just in case, I can't bring myself to part with any of DD's hand-me-downs until this new baby is in my arms.

We had totally decided on our boy name before we found out the gender, so we  were all set in that department! I'm still kinda sad I didn't get to use it, only because I loved the name!

We had Owen picked out if LO was a boy so we would probably go with that, or with Jackson which we loved for years!  Funny thing is I am more certain on our boy name than a girl name....and we are having a girl lol

Not really, we have a girl name we like, but we'd probably be hitting the naming books just in case. I was just talking to a girl who was told through two ultrasounds her baby was a boy... and Charlie became Charlotte when she was born!

i'm sorry but do these people not see the ultrasounds nor pay attention? i had 3 ultrasounds and on the third i made the woman show me the vagina. it was clear as day, i was 32 weeks. i just dont get the turned out to be having a boy when told girl situations. i would seriously cry. not because i dont want to have a boy but i spent weeks and weeks (not to mention tons of $) on this room and all her gear and have ALL girl clothing. what the hell would someone do.
