    Oh yes, I know.  I will make sure to come to you when I start stabbing myself in a week.  You might have to talk me into it and remind me how it will all be worth it in the end!

    It WILL be worth it. And, with all of my heart, ICE. Ice is a miracle. I love ice. I want to have ice's babies.

    It's made all the difference, and I highly suggest using it before and after the injection. It makes a thousand times more bearable.

    Ok, ice it is!!  I have an appointment for shot class next week.  I hope they show me some good tricks.  I will make sure to have lots of ice on hand to do injections.  Do you just do them below your belly button?  Do they go in very deep?

    Low down, to the sides of my belly button. They aren't super deep. The big thing right now is I have stopped pinching the skin where I inject, which has helped a lot with the bruising, but it makes it a little harder to get the needle in.

    But by now, 10 days into it, it's already routine and much less of an ordeal. It's amazing what we get used to!
