He poped for the 18 megapixel T2i kit at Best Buy, but I told him that I would feel SUPER guilty if I didn't buy it from my uncle who owns a photog shop, so I took it back and I'm going to get prob the 12.2 body from my uncle plus a lens- I'm going to ask for his recommendation on which one. I already have a 75-300mm from the EOS series that is compatible...so considering that, which lens do you think I should get? Still the 28-135mm?

I'm a big fan of the 28-135 but mostly use it outdoors. If you're going to be shooting indoors a lot (Hayden pics) I'd definitely grab the 50mm f/1.8. I actually have one I don't use anymore (I upgraded) if you're interested. It's the best quality for the price for low light shots.
