Repeat HSG

Has anyone had to ahve a 2nd HSG b/c of timing?  I had one in January of 2008.  I am seeing RE for the 1st ime in July.  I am hoping he won't want to do another b/c the first one hurt so bad!  The 1st one showed a blocked left tube.

My RE requires these tests within 1 year of treatment. By the time I moved to donor eggs, my HSG had expired. Fortunately I only needed an SGH, which is slightly less painful. I would assume that if you are still going to use your tubes, you might need a repeat HSG. If you're moving to IVF, an SHG might be sufficient.
