Quick-need backup plan for outdoor party?!

So Kaitlyn is having 12 girls here for her birthday party in 3 hours, we were supposed to be doing sprinklers and a waterslide with a balloon toss game.  It is downpouring and now it is thundering, I'm hoping it clears up.  I have pin the tail on the donkey an musical chairs for inside.  In desprite need of other ideas?  thanks

  • Do you have favors and tin foil?  We did a treasure hunt indoors for DD's party because it threatened to rain the whole time (rained the minute it was over!).  I wrapped little things, like decks of cards, silly putty eggs, playdough, packs of chalk, ect in tin foil and hit them "in plain sight" all over the house.  They had a great time with it and played with the stuff for about a 1/2 hour after.  I am still finding things.

  • Art activity?  What do you have for art supplies?

How old are the kids, can they read?  If they can you can do Who's on My Back.  You write something on a post it like a tv character, animal etc.  Then the person who has the post it on their back has to ask yes or no questions to guess what they are...am I brown, am I a girl etc.  My kids love this game.  I use pictures that I cut out of magazines becasue they can't read.

Some ideas on this website...good luck!  I have had parties inside and when we are done with activities the kids have fun just playing.  If you don't mind all the toys coming out.
