I know it's way easier now than when you're having to hold them down, but it still brought tears to my eyes. I made dh hold him, but I wasn't prepared for that blood-curdling scream. Poor thing!
I never expected to be so upset by the shots... I cried right along with DD when she got her first set (and actually, I think I've teared up for all of them so far!). I make DH come with me so he can hold her down because I just can't do it. I think I'll be a bit better when I can explain to her what's coming. I always feel so guilty that she has no idea!
It sucks!! For me X 2!! UGH!! But I have to say the first time was the worst DD had literally no chub in her leg and it was torture for me and her! But now they do soooo much better, screaming of course as an initial reaction but they get over it quickly and they have never (knock on wood) been cranky later in the day or feverish as a result.
