Kids birthday parties

Anyone been to a Little Gym or Gymboree type place for a kid's birthday party?  Whether you hosted it or just attended it?  Your thoughts?  I've never been to one, but was thinking about it for my DS when he turns 2. Something a bit more low key than his first bday.

    I went to a 3rd birthday at JW Tumblez. the kids loved it and it was super easy on the parents. You can often find coupons too.
