You should see my doc. She was willing/wanting to write me out of work at 29 weeks. The babies and I are doing great though and in my situation, it would mean less time with them after they are born. I refused. Seemed silly to not go to work when I'm not on bedrest or anything. Of course, I have an office job where I sit at my desk with my feet up all day. Hope you get a second wind!

I'm getting out of work at 28w. Standard for my OB's MoM's. I'm not arguing. A friend of mine had twins and her OB's standard was all MoM's off work at 25w.

my OB said she'd write me out at 29wks. i guess that must be the magic #. GL!
ETA: she phrased it different. she said 29wks was very commonly when twin mommies needed to leave work. i hoped i could go longer, and she said, "we'll see."
I'm a SAHM but my OB asked me at my 27 week appointment if I was working. I told her now but if I would have said yes she would have wrote me out at 27 weeks. Best of luck to you at your appointment. Hopefully your doctor writes you out.
My Peri has been asking every week since 29 weeks if I wanted her to write me out just say the word, but all has been going well and I'm not having and problems so I'll just continue to work until 36 weeks and then I'll just relax at home.
Wow your doctors are pretty strict!!! Mine baby me. I could have gotten a "work from home" note at 16 weeks. It probably helps that every time I go there I bust out some new symptoms on them. ; )
Re: Dear OB
LOL - I'm 33 weeks and my doc refuses to write me out unless there is a medical necessity. Since I am healthy looks like I will be here until the end!
