When your toddler is too quiet... (PIP)

Chance are they're up to something:

No, that's not washable. It's a Sharpie. Luckily she kept it to her arms and legs- her new dress doesn't have a single mark on it, thank goodness.

  • Thank goodness kids skin washes sharpie off faster than adults!  Try baking soda-worked pretty good for dd.

And she is getting so big!  Adorable!

but she DID ruin her skirt.

And Nat used cheapo Target $ markers (not washable) but still not a Sharpie, thank goodness!

  • LOL!  Want to know the worst part?  They don't outgrow this.  My 9 y/o was bored on a long car ride and wrote on her legs with a highlighter (I'd given her the highlighter to use on a wordsearch book).

  • I'm not going to say a word about anything posted here lest I jinx myself!
  • She looks mighty proud of herself!! LOL!

Get some tea tree oil. It will help the sharpie wash off really easily without burning her skin.

  • Sorry I just had to laugh at how happy you were that she didn't ruin her dress - my 1st thought was its only clothes and I hope it comes off her skin easily.  I have learned to hid any non-washable markers from my LO, she is one to write on herself at any time she gets her hands on a marker.  I once turned my head for about 10 secs to turn back and she had a huge brown mark on both her cheeks and nose.
