basically just venting over girl names

This is my second DD and we have a DS.  The first two seemed so easy to name- we had two solid choices going in and had no problem picking the final name at birth. (Jackson & Scarlet)   I don't know if its the pressure thinking this will prob be our last child to name or what but this time has been so much harder!  Our choices are all over the place too...  Emerson- I have always like unisex names for girls and always wished I had one!  Tess- just think its super adorable and actually as a full name with our last like it for an adult woman as well.   And now we have added Olivia which is supposedly uber popular which I don't like but to be honest don't really know any IRL.  Love the nn Liv  

 Sorry for the Friday morning vent just needed to get it out! haha

    I am no help because I like all three of your names: Emerson, Tess, and Olivia.  Emerson Tess sounds really pretty to me as a full name.  Olivia Emerson sounds pretty to.

    thank you..  we are actually leaning towards using either Cate or Catherine as a mn  for MIL    I should have stated that.   I think Emerson Cate sounds better than E. Catherine  but if we went with Tess I would use longer version of Catherine...  Tess Kate sounds too choppy (and I wish I liked Tessa better, lots of people suggested that but I much prefer just Tess for some reason)

    I love the name Olivia and would really have wanted to use that if we'd had a little girl...but yes, it's crazy popular all of a sudden. I also don't know any Olivia's but I think it's because it's only gotten popular in the last few years. I have heard lots of parents calling out "Olivia" to their kids though.

     

    Beyond that, I think Tess is really cute!

    Scarlet is lovely, feminine and beautiful.  Emerson sounds like a Scarlet's brother.  Tess is too frumpy when paired with Scarlet.  Olivia is pretty and goes best with Scarlet but it's very popular.

    I LOVE Olivia and really like Emerson :) Not a huge fan of Tess, but it is cute.

    I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three!
