You know what puzzles me?  They probably spent a fair amount of money and time doing research on something that just isn't helpful.  I mean, it's not like you can just go ahead and make your DH outgoing if he isn't already or make yourself neurotic if you aren't predisposed to having that personality already.  So, honestly, what do we GET from knowing this info, other than another serving of self-blame and anger?

We get the sense of superiority that can only come from looking at our knocked-up friends and thinking: "So sorry about those daddy issues. Hey! Maybe that's why you married a cheater!"

I don't think the study is very reliable given that the sample population was polygamous.  I hope I didn't upset you though - my bitterness got the best of me when I read that stupid article.

That's what my issue is. Guess I shouldn't have married such a great guy who will be a wonderful father. Maybe I should have married my ex fiance who cheated on me.
