I did this when pregnant with Mitch, and the girls were belted in their car seats, locked inside the car, and it was summer, but luckily the air conditioner was on.....I bawled and called 911.
Cops came quick..but I guess they aren't allowed to pick locks anymore because of liability (scratch a car or whatever), but they partner with locksmiths who do it for free if a child is locked inside. So the locksmith was there in about 20 minutes. Twenty long and painful minutes, where I was bawling and my kids were laughing about it. They thought that I was locked out of the car..not that they were locked IN the car. And no matter how hard I tried to get Taylor to unbelt herself, she couldn't, which I guess is a good thing!! LOL.
Re: ugh, DH locked himself out of running car
How on earth did he manage to do that?

Good luck!!!
He had a special tool for it that slid in along the window seal. It was when I was first driving so the car had the old school locks.
I thought you meant he picked the lock cylinder itself. Ok. This makes sense.
