Depends... stop as in "stop doing that" would be "para"
Stop as in "here's our stop" would be "parada"
and then a few different ways all depending on what you mean by stop
I have never heard a spanish person say parada. That's formal.
I have heard Basta. I have heard Deja (pronounced day-ha). Deja is more when saying "Stop, leave it."
