I don't get why a lot of people don't like Carter's.

  • I get them cheap because I shop at the outlets, with a 20% off coupon, during the end of season sales for the next season. So I usually end up paying $2 or $3 for an entire outfit or dress.

And I want my girls to look like babies for as long as possible. They have plenty of time to wear tennis shoes, jeans and tank tops. I'll keep them in rompers, bishop dresses and mary janes until they start bitching to me.

  • I have a 5 year old girl, 4 year old boy, and a baby.  I shop at the Carter's outlet.  I have found plenty of clothes there for my older kids.  They have cargo shorts and pants for boys.  They do not look cutesy.  There are shirts without animals or words.  I bought quite a few dresses and sweaters for my daughter.  Everything has held up.  I actually like that  they still look like little kids when they are dressed.  They are little and look much nicer than their preschool classmates dressed like preteens.

My sons old navy stuff is good quality, but the girl stuff is crap.  The shirts are thin and shrink. The pants are good, but the dresses are designed to make her look like a mini teen.

At the risk of sounding un-PC, the boy clothes are gay. I would never put my son in that pansy-a$$ crap.

The girl clothes are acceptable up to a point.

If by "un-PC," you mean ignorant and just plain stupid... you are doing an awesome job.

oh please, give me a break.

Hey when you sound like an ignorant tool, you sound like an ignorant tool.
