If you printed your own invites say via Vistaprint or other outlet, did you do matte finish or glossy? I can't decide what to do.

I would get matte. Mainly b/c it won't show fingerprints like glossy would.

I got glossy and they turned out great. No complaints from me!

I own a photo card business, and I print all my orders in matte. It looks nicer, and no fingerprints.
