I had my first whole baby-less day yesterday.

I've got the flu and it's kicking my butt. My mom had a day off work and picked up Audra at 1 yesterday. She had a blast! She took formula with my mom and did fine. She wasn't home until 8 last night and was all smiles.

Now I need another day like this where I feel good enough to actually get out of bed!

Such a good feeling, isnt it? DD slept at my mom's for the first time a couple weeks ago. I was worried she wouldnt eat, wouldnt STTN in the PNP, but she did! Now that I know this is an option, it opens a whole new world of possibilities....LOL. Hope you feel better soon and use mom one day for a spa day or something

I think it is hard to leave your LO for the first time.  We are leaving DD overnight with my mom next week because we are going to stay in a cabin for our anniversary, and I am having such a hard time just thinking about leaving her!  Hopefully it will be fine.  Also, my name first name is Audra but I have always gone by my middle name.  I always wished my mom would have called me that because I like it and it's not a super common name.  It was my great-grandmother's name also.
