Is there anything you wish you would have done for yourself before having your first LO? For me, I wish I would have gotten my master's degree before getting pregnant. I would like to go back to school one day, but I think it will be so much harder with LO than it would have been before.
What about you?
Re: Is there anything you wish you would have done before having LO?
I am in grad school now so I understand how it might have been easier if I wasn't in school with a baby. But, I am making it work!
I guess I maybe would have liked to travel more - but I think there's still time for that.
I was 27 when I had DS (28 now) and I didn't really want to wait any longer. I figure you can always think of reasons why another time would be better, but once it happens you figure out a way to make it work!
Taken one last, really nice vacation. With jumping back on the TTC-horse this fall, I feel like it's never going to happen again...
That and not wasted money on good shoes - none of them fit now.

I would have loved to backpack through Europe and maybe live abroad for a bit....studied abroad something like that. I just figure any multiple area tour of anywhere right now will be next to impossible.
And I'm going back to school in the fall so I'll let you know how that goes.
Gone on our honeymoon first. We were going to plan our honeymoon about 3 months after the wedding (since DH was in school and couldn't be gone for long period of time). But since I got pregnant right away we put it off. We're thinking about going early next year (before TTC #2).
For some reason I don't think we'll ever have our honeymoon....or it will be when our LO's are 5 years old! LOL!
This is basically us. We did most of this but we didn't travel as much as I would have liked. I feel lame for not ever having been to Europe. I think we can take him when he's older but for now I think we're stateside. I'm def glad we enjoyed our 20's childless. We had a ton of fun! Now we have different fun.
We purchased a fixer upper house. I wish we could have done more repairs and projects on the house first. Now a days things just seem so outta reach.
I definately wish I would have got my MBA.
I've been talking about it and wanting it for years, even though I told myself I would never go back to school. I think I'm going back to school in the fall. In fact, I'm pretty sure. It's just one (or two if I feel up to it) classes a week. Yah, it's a whole night away from LO, which will be the hardest part, but good for lots of reasons. Plus my work does educational assistance so I have no reason not to.
I wish I had lost more weight. Now in addition to having already been overweight, I have extra weight to lose.
I also wish we had been able to save more money. I refuse to TTC #2 until we have all credit cards paid off in full and $5,000 in the bank.
I wish I would have finished school before DS was born. Though I graduate tomorrow, so it doesn't much matter. I bet my grades would have been better though, and I wouldn't have had to pay for course extensions because I was just so swamped that I couldn't do my schoolwork while SAH.
I also really wish we'd gone to Europe. We were planning a trip, then got our BFP, so that money went to baby stuff. I'm really excited to take Moses to europe, especially since I found out there's a Disney in Paris, but I'm still kinda bummed. Especially since it'll probably be a once in a lifetime trip for us, so now we think we have to wait until we have both our LOs AND they're both old enough to enjoy it. Otherwise it wouldn't be fair.
The only thing I can think of is backpack through Europe and lose more weight. Honestly, I waited until I was 29 to have DH and I'm so glad I did. I had lots of carefree fun in my twenties and got all of my wildness out of my system. I also have a master's degree and was with DH for six years before TCC. I never got to Europe though, even through I traveled throughout the US, Mexico and the Caribbean. Now we will be better off when we go though so we will get to upgrade our accomedations.
