Lately all DD will eat is fruit! I know fruit is good for you but it's getting kind of boring and I can't see how it's very substantial. She won't eat toast, waffle/pancake, plain cheerios, or eggs even.
I know it sounds weird, but I get up super early for work, so when most people are eating breakfast, I'm usually ready for lunch, and I don't mind giving A some turkey or making a grilled cheese (I make one for myself and eat scrambled eggs on the side, really delicious), I think, for us, it's getting him to eat, even though it isn't "breakfast-y" food.
We usually do a waffle and yogurt for breakfast. I also get organic turkey sausage and things like that from whole foods for him sometimes too. Like the person before me said I dont think it really matters if they are getting "breakfast food," just something healthy. My DS also loves cheese.
