Oy. I'm with the people who question how all the good stuff can be credited to God, but not the bad. And if you truly believe God saved your child, why would he choose to save her and not others? I'm glad people find comfort in their faith, but some of it seems a little naive. Or arrogant, for lack of a better word.

It is a little to TV Evangelist for me over there! Lol. Religion is personal, and thats great that the lil girl was healed-- but dont push beliefs on others. I believe there are miracles everyday-- just dont see everyone broadcasting it. Glad all turned out well for that family.
Hunh, that's not how I'd characterize the board as a whole. If this board were judged by a single post, well.....
I can say that the level of support that has been generated on that board for Britt and her daughter (who had a brain tumor diagnosed and removed this week) far outweighs any criticism I could come up with.
It is a new board, and as such has a smaller group of posters, so maybe that skews the vibe a touch, but I haven't found it to be overly righteous.
Re: The Preschool board?

Although, at least in that post, it seemed pretty friendly for lack of a better term.
I agree though that it can be hard to relate to that, enthusiasm, I guess. I always think...how can they be so sure? Wish I could be!
Anyone else now have this song in their head?
