In Sears appliances searching for a new washer/drawer. Lovely saleslady is chatting me up and asks what the elephant necklace is about.

I explain the three days are my three EDD and then start to explain the meaning of the elephant... and start crying... in SEARS!!!

Lady was incredibly sweet and ended up telling me about her three losses (and the secret sale on Sunday). Though I AM embarassed about the crying bit, it was nice in a weird way to connect with this total stranger over something so intimate. I feel like the more I 'put it out there' the more I find others who understand what we're going through.

Honestly, though, I'm so happy the necklace helped you connect with someone who knows your pain and share a little bit of your grief.  That is always such a great help to me.
