They keep suggesting Jon Gosselin as a friend for me. Seriously. None of my current friends have him as a friend, and we don't have schools or workplaces in common.
do you have jon gosselin's email in your address book? (I have no idea why you would but who knows lol). Anyway when you import your address book to check for friends when you first sign up the sneaky thing saves that info and will periodically suggest people from there for you.

No, I have nothing about jon gosselin in my facebook profile, address book, etc. Nothing.
I think Facebook can track cookies from the sites you've been to. If you've ever clicked on a link regarding Jon Gosselin, I think FB can get that info. That's the only thing I can figure out. And I think it could be related to Google--I wouldn't put it past Google to be selling that info.
I've noticed that when I Google something, FB will give me related fan or friend suggestions. I googled a recipe for ice cream and a few minutes later, FB suggested I become a fan of Haggen Daz. It's happened enough times that I don't think it's a coincidence.

Hmmmmm. So if I search for someone on FB, just to snoop and see what they are up to or Google someone, would FB suggest me as a friend to them? That could get me in big trouble.

I have no idea but if i had to guess, I would say it only goes in one direction. If YOU google John Doe, the FB suggests to YOU that you become friends with him. I don't think it would also suggest to John Doe that he becomes friends with you.
Re: Facebook mystery/question
he is gibs and hears how you bash on his ex-wife??? j/k

I do hate on Kate here and sometimes in real life, but never on FB. My FB TV-related comments are pretty much limited to trying to figure out LOST.
Not that I know of. But it's possible, I guess.
Nope. I'm in DC. He's in PA and/or NYC
