reusing snaps/sewing ?

i'm going to take some of ds's onesies and turn them into t-shirts.... but i was wondering, the snaps that i'm cutting off.. is there a way to reuse those?  other than taking the strip and sewing that onto something else, i just didn't know if you can take them apart and reuse them or if there is another way you can reuse them.

You'd have to reuse the strip of fabric, in addition to the snaps.  Snaps are one-and-done, usually.  The exception would be the sort of snaps that are sewn on by hand.
