Circ question

I'm due in July and am having a boy, but I have a question.  We are not planning on circumcising our son.  My question is, is there anyone on this board who regrets their decision in choosing not to?

Re: Circ question

  • In choosing to get them circumcised or not getting them circumcised? Either way I think you're opening up a can of worms. People are very opinionated on this and I feel like this is just a ploy to cause drama.

  • We are still very happy with our decision to keep our son intact, especially when I keep reading stories on these boards of circ'd boys with adhesions and various other problems.

    I doubt this highly.

    Ditto. It's a legitimate question.

  • We chose to circumcize, and we are happy with our decision, while DS has had zero problems so far.

FWIW, I think it's a perfectly legit question.

The questions was meant for those who chose not to circumcise and if they had any reasons why they wished they had.  Not a "ploy".  Just want to see if there were any problems down the road, since the babies here are older, that I cannot foresee.  This is my first baby.  DH is not circumcised and this is one of the main reasons we are not going to do it.  He never had any problems with his penis but from researching the pros and cons I'm wondering if there really are any complications from not doing it.
