What time does your LO have dinner and what time do they go to bed?

Right now I give my LO a snack at 3:30 and dinner at 5pm...but he gets super cranky (screaming fit) at 5:30.  He wakes up from his last nap at 2pm...so I am guessing he is tired. I have tried laying him down for naps but he'll only catnap and then wake up screaming! I am tempted just to give him his last bottle at 5:30 and then lay him down for the night at 6pm...What do you think?

  • My ds usually wakes up at 3-330. he eats dinner at 530, nurses, then at 645 we do bath, book, nurse, bed, He is usually out at 730 for the night.

  • I would try it. DD has dinner around 545-6pm...by the time she is done eating it can be around 6:30. She has her bottle at 7:00pm - 7:15 pm and its lights out. She eats a pretty big dinner and almost always finishes an 8.5 oz. bottle.
  • DS naps at 2:00 wakes up at 3:30ish, eats dinner at 6:30 goes to bed at 7:00 for the night.
  • Typically dinner is 6-6:30 and he goes to bed about 7:30/8. We give him a bath and read a book, give bottle between supper and bed.
  • i usually have dinner on the table at 6. we all sit and eat together every night.

at 7 i wash the kids and brush their teeth, change them into their pjs.

DS is in bed by 8:30. he naps 9-10 and  2-4.

if chase goes to be any earlier than 8:30 he wakes at 10 for food.  so a snack before the 2:00 nap and dinner at 6 worked out best.

  • I think that is so early, but i have a friend thats what time their daughter goes down for the night and it works for them. I dont have a strick schedule for my girls.  but I try to stay close usually its like this...

11 catnap. followed by lunch... 1-2:00 is nap time...It depends on what we are doing that day. Supper is by 6:30 then play and start getting ready to be in bed by 8:30.

  • Dinner at 5/5:30

    Bed at 7

6 is totally fine for a bedtime if that's what seems to work for you.  I would try it!
