I'll start of by saying that most nights I sleep horribly so getting 3 hours of sleep is rare and its really rare to get 3 hours at about the same time.
So, here's my question. This morning I woke up at 3 to go to the bathroom but didn't temp (I never temp that early). So, I woke up again at 4:30 and temped because I wasn't sure that I would get back to sleep. My temp was 98.17. Then, I sort of fell back to sleep until 5 and temped again (just because I was curious and that is when I normally temp) and it was 97.7. Normally my temp rises a bit if I temp later after just getting some restless sleep. Which temp would you believe to be more accurate?
Yesterday morning I temped around 4:30 as well at it was 97.9 and then I temped again when I got up at 5 and it was 97.9 too. So, I wonder why today was so different.
Normally it wouldn't be that big of deal but if the high temp is "more" accurate that is good and if the low one is "more" accurate, AF is prolly on her way. And yes, I know that tomorrow morning will give me a better idea but I need something to obsess about all day ![]()
Re: Ok, dumb temping question (longish)
Ok, I know this sounds like I am looking for you to tell me that OMG - I must be KU but that is really not the case. Since my sleeping patterns suck, I always wonder what is right but normally it doesn't seem to change/affect things. Today it seems like it could so now I am curious. I feel like a new TTCAL6+ failure because no doubt you think I am phishing...
Can I change my question to a more general question: Is it more important to temp after 3 hours of sleep (or as close to it as possible) even if that is sometimes 2am and sometimes 5am or more important to temp at the same time?
