What do I buy after Letter Factory??

She has watched WAY too many times!  I was looking at the other DVD's and those were like "reading"....is that where we go next? Seemed like a leap....?

Re: What do I buy after Letter Factory??

  • Talking Words Factory

    Talking Storybook Factory (?)

    and there's 1 more.

(not sure of titles - mine are out on loan right now)

Talking Words factory is where you want to go next.  It puts together 3 letter words, explains vowels, and common consonant pairings

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • I would say Talking Words Factory then Learn to Read dvd would be next.

My dd's other favorite is the Let's go to School dvd.

  • OK great!!! I couldnt BELIEVE how fast she got these sounds down!
  • Talking Words Factory is a good next step from the letter factory.

However, it does get right into putting letters together and sounding out simple words that follow the consonant-vowel-consonant pattern, like "CAT" "TOP" etc.

If you feel like knows the letters and sounds but is not quite up to reading yet, you might want to wait to spring this video so that it has maximum impact.
