We are getting new neighbors..

and DH is over there helping them haul away garbage left behind.  The house is a rental house and the previous tenant left a ton of sh!t in general.  They put wooden boards in the grass garbage and my DH gives him our pair of work gloves so he can take it out of their garbage and put it in the right garbage can.  Now, I know DH is trying to be nice and friendly, but I'm seriously annoyed.  This couple had no problem having a party the other night (Sunday) and couldn't ask their friends to help out or go out and buy a pair of gloves.  I have a whole notebook of things that need to be done (my nesting notebook) which includes a lot of things I can no longer due which involve heavy lifting nad moving stuff around, but DH has yet to begin those tasks.  I was in a good mood until this and now I feel a mood swing coming.

Ughh how aggravating.  I hate it when things like that happen!  Like when I need help around the house, he's too tired and busy with his Xbox.  But then ohhh all of a sudden he feels like washing and detailing his car!  What the?!

I can totally relate!  I am blessed with a very handy husband.  We are remodeling right now and don't even have a functional bathroom upstairs where the bedroom is...so that means I have to trek downstairs every time I need to go in the middle of the night.  My DH is a good friend and always helps a friend in "need" and also has a man's dream garage complete with 3 of every tool imaginable and has a personality that draws people in...too often!  Friends and neighbors are over all the time working on their motorcycles and other random things, which takes away from what he really needs to be doing.  Hello...I'm not going to be able to see my feet in a few months...I really need this bathroom finished soon!  I think that men find other people's work less tedious and easier to do than facing what they really NEED to be doing!
