if your LO sleeps in a PNP

do you have a mattress for it? DD sleeps in our PNP at my parent's house when we go there, but never sleeps well in it and i think it's because it's uncomfortable for her. i have been searching for a mattress but so far can pretty much only find porta crib mattress COVERS and not the actual mattresses. i thought about those eggshell foam pads but apparently they emit some sort of chemical that's bad to breathe in...

if anyone has any advice or links to a product i would greatly appreciate it!

Re: if your LO sleeps in a PNP

  • we bought a mini crib mattress for ours but it didn't quite fit...I would suggest maybe trying to find a softer pad you could but on top or something. You would think they would make the mattress better for the PNP. GL!

  • I'm not sure if Graco makes specific mattresses for the PNP other than what they come with but I would not try to add your own. That doesnt sound safe at all. If you stay with your parents often it may be worth investing in another crib.

you're absolutely right. i don't want to do anything that's not safe...i should have mentioned, we're headed out of town next weekend for a vacation and wanted to bring something for that, so buying another crib would not be an option...but it's a good idea. thanks :) headed to graco's website now to see if they make anything...

Look online for "travel cribs" maybe there is something that will suit your needs better.  Worth a shot! GL
