Pacifiers...

Sometimes I wish DD would take one!  Is that bad?  I have tried soothies (which she seems to not be able to hold in her mouth), nuk, nam.   Any other suggestions?  I feel like she wants one and sometimes tries so hard to suck her hands and it doesnt satisfy her!

Soothies are hard to keep in the mouth for us too. Kate does like the NUK however.

Most babies have a hard time keeping the paci in the first couple of months.

we use nuk. my mom did tell me that before pacifiers were invented they would stuff a washcloth or some other fabric into the nipple of a bottle and use that... does lo use a bottle at all? you could try that trick!

DS doesn't like anything but his hands either.  He gets annoyed with most pacifiers when nothing comes out!

Sometimes he'll take one of the Avent ones for a little while.  Have you tried those?

I pushed a paci on dd and it took a while before she took one. I wanted her to have a comfort, she liked the NUK.

MAMs are Brynns favorite. She has no problem switching between MAM binkie and mommy's ninny

We use the OrthoPro. I recommend buying or making one of those pacifier straps to hook on. Once DS got a hold of it they were all over the car and impossible to find and give back to him!

Kate only takes Avent. I dont know what we would do without pacis!

DD likes mam.  She'll also take advent.  I also just recently bought tommy tippee ones and she likes those and they are supposed to be shaped a lot like mom's nip, maybe try that?
