Pampers sizing?

We've been using Pampers all her life, love them, but she seems to outgrow her size rather quickly, and honestly she's not that chunky?or maybe she is. Have you noticed that Pampers sizes tend to be a bit smaller on your LO? She's in a size 3 now, so I know there's no way she's ready for a sz 4, she's only 20 lbs. I think when she runs out of these, I'm going to try maybe Huggies and see if they fit better.

Re: Pampers sizing?

  • The huggies might be a little bigger but I haven't noticed enough of a difference to prefer them to pampers. They don't fit that much better and I don't think they're as snug- we only use the huggies during the day and stick with pampers swaddlers at night.

  • i can't go based on weight at all.  we moved to size 3's when she was only 12 lbs-and i think the lower weight is like 15 or 16 lbs.  i just move up based on when we start having leaks at night.

  • DD wears Pampers Baby Dry at night and is in size 4 right now. I am noticing that they are getting kinda small. She is only 18 lbs and 28 inches, so they must run small. We have about 15 left and then I am buying size 5. If they are a tad big on her, I don't think its going to be a big deal. We love Baby Dry so I don't want to switch brands.
