Pregnant after a Loss

Crib Bedding?

When are you washing it and putting in on?  I'm not sure if it's too early...

Also- did you wash everything- like the skirt and bumper too??  I feel like I should.  Sorry if it's a stupid ??

Re: Crib Bedding?

  • I washed it last week & put it on
I just ironed the skirt .. no wash.
The bumper was clean when stored in a sealed bag so I just put that on.

It is early to be doing this but I wanted to see the nursery done
I know he will not be sleeping up there for at least the first two-three months
DS slept in a PNP in our room until almost 6 months

  • I will be washing everything, skirt included, and putting it on probably around 33-34 weeks. I don't want it to get dusty but I don't want to be doing it the day before I go to the hospital either!

  • When you do wash your bumper I would not dry it
Just lay it flat somewhere to dry

  • I made my own bedding, quilted the blanket and made the skirt so I have already washed it but will likely be washing it again once the baby is ready to sleep in it.  The plan is in a basinet/PnP in our room when the baby is born for the first few months.
